TDC Development International is an integrated real estate development, finance, investment, and marketing services company with offices in both New York and Shanghai.
TDC opened its first office in the United States only twenty-five years ago, and has since been involved in the development of over four million square feet of hotel, commercial, office, and residential space in the New York metropolitan area, primarily in the boroughs of Manhattan and Queens.
TDC is the force behind The F&T Group’s “Global Vision for Local Development” slogan. Presently, TDC is pursuing large mixed-use urban projects with leading worldwide real estate partners. In the U.S., the company is finishing up luxury condominiums in Manhattan totaling 89,000 square feet, with a total project cost of $78 million. On the horizon, TDC also has plans to develop approximately four million square feet in the New York Metropolitan area, totaling over $1.7 billion in project costs.
In addition, TDC is a finalist in the development of an 11-acre portion of the Willets Point district to be known as “The World Trade Center Queens,” an approximately 1.1 million square foot development consisting of an exhibition/convention hall for temporary events and shows, an office and showroom building, and a hotel.
TDC has been expanding its presence in China as well. Most notably, TDC, along with its partner, a real estate fund managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management – Global Real Assets, acquired the land and the approvals necessary to develop the Nanjing World Trade Center, a 3.5 million square foot mixed-use project. Through this international development and its strategic partnerships, TDC has continued to strengthen its global alliances all around the world.
The company plays an important role as a principal player in the City of New York’s initiative to revitalize Downtown Flushing through the implementation of its Downtown Flushing Framework. Moreover, several of TDC’s projects in Flushing, such as Prince Center, Sanford Tower, and Colden Garden have received first place honors for excellence in design and construction from the Queens Chamber of Commerce. Queens Crossing, a recently-completed development, has continually stimulated positive change for the local community. Furthermore, TDC is currently developing Flushing Commons, a major project that will transform Downtown Flushing in the upcoming decade.
Lastly, the company is pursuing large commercial development projects in China.
