Lisa Fan is passionate about helping real estate projects move from concept to completion with clarity and confidence. With a strong foundation in both compliance and development, she brings a practical understanding of the complexities involved in navigating New York City’s regulatory environment.
Known for being responsive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused, Lisa has built a reputation for making complex projects feel manageable. She combines technical knowledge with a collaborative mindset, ensuring that every stakeholder stays aligned and informed throughout the process.
Lisa began her career at the New York City Department of Buildings, where she led the High-Rise Team—now known as the Major Projects Program—overseeing some of the city’s most complex and large-scale developments. She also played a key role in spearheading the creation of the NYC Development Hub, a centralized initiative designed to streamline approvals and improve coordination across agencies for major projects.
Following her time at DOB, Lisa helped build and lead expediting and compliance teams at multiple firms, focused on helping developers efficiently secure permits and navigate the approvals process. Through this work, she developed a proven framework for managing filings, coordinating with agencies, and accelerating timelines across a wide range of project types especially for certificate of occupancies.
