Mr. Chiu immigrated to the United States from Taiwan in the early 1980s. Upon moving to New York City, he began working at Great Eastern Bank in 1986, where he quickly rose from lending officer to vice president of marketing. Mr. Chiu served as an instrumental executive at the bank until 1996, when he left to form a partnership with Mr. Michael Lee, ultimately establishing The F&T Group. He currently serves as Vice-Chairman and CFO of The F&T Group.

Sunny Chiu is proud of the significant achievements the company has made through years of dedicated effort. He believes that while good architectural design is essential, it is the expertise of developers that transforms ideas into reality. With extensive experience in Flushing, New York, Sunny has played a pivotal role in creating comprehensive and vibrant master-planned mixed-use developments that continue to enhance the downtown community. Under his leadership, F&T Group maintains an active presence in local affairs, reinforcing its commitment to community engagement and development.

Mr. Chiu is a graduate of Soochow University in Taiwan and holds an MBA from Pace University.
